Ever fancied trying out the pottery wheel? Pop along for an action-packed taster session!
Our 2-hour Saturday morning taster session running from 10am-12pm is a great way to have a go and see if pottery throwing is something you’d like to pursue.
Our talented tutor Rachelle Corker will show you how to ball up clay, cone, centre, collar-in and pull-up into a cylinder. Then, it’s over to you to get stuck in and go for it, Throw Down style! You’ll also learn a bit about the wheel and how it works.
Taster sessions are limited to 6 students, so you’ll get plenty of support from your tutor.
Your work will be fired and glazed. It will be available for collection several weeks after the session.
This taster session is perfect for trying out the wheel, as a gift, or it even makes for the perfect date!

+ Adults 18yrs+ only, suitable for complete beginners only.

+ Tasters are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please check you can attend the date/time before booking as mistakes cannot be rectified afterwards. We cannot provide an alternative date for a missed session as we need tasters to run at full occupancy to keep the lights on and our bellies full!
