You are invited to a free singing group to learn the Christmas carols that we sing in the pubs in Bradford on Avon in harmony.
The carols are not from the standard repertoire of Christmas carols. Many of them come from the 18th or early 19th century, at a time when most churches had a wooden gallery at the back where choirs, accompanied by bands of mixed instruments, led the singing.
We will meet at 3 pm in the club room behind the Dog & Fox pub for four Sundays starting on November 3rd. All parts will be taught ‘by ear’ so there’s no need for you to be able to read music. Also, don’t worry if you can’t make it to every session.
This is a free event.
