When Sid Vicious dubbed John Wardle Jah Wobble, the nickname stuck. And when Sid gave Jah Wobble his first bass guitar, a founding member of post-punk heroes, PiL (Public Image Limited) was born, one who would then go on to be one of the best-loved alternative solo artists of the early ‘90s. Tonight he and his band bring his trademark mix of global music, reggae, fusion and punk to mark the start of this year’s Bradford on Avon Live Music Festival.
