This August Bank Holiday, families are invited to follow Alice down the rabbit hole in Will Todd’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. A mix of jazz, musical theatre and opera, this musical extravaganza promises to be a fabulous way to spend a summer’s bank holiday Sunday for adults and children alike.
Eleven year old Alice is jolted out of her daydreams when she meets a talking rabbit who insists she follows him to a mysterious Wonderland. In this fantastical place, Alice comes across a number of peculiar characters, including a grinning cat, a mad hatter, and a sleepy dormouse. She learns all is not well because a very cross Queen of Hearts seems keen to chop off everybody’s heads, but will Alice be able to save Wonderland?
Performed within the gardens of Belcombe Court in Bradford on Avon, you are invited to picnic before the show and explore these gorgeous grounds. You can also book a seat at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party table and meet some of Wonderland’s characters.
